Joseph Anthony Germanotta Jr. is her father, director of an online company and businessman. Her family was in the elite Upper East Side neighborhood of Manhattan by the family of a Catholic family. Their parents had their daughter at the Convent of the Sacred Heart, a religious elitist institution. She has always loved music. In the early years of her life, she began to learn the piano. By age thirteen the first song she wrote was written. The open mic night was her absolute favorite. Her favorite singers included the Queen of Pop, Michael Jackson Madonna, David Bowie.
